Voting Question: its a 94 chevy caprice wagon with a 94 corvette lt1 engine?

ok heres the problem it has a low idle miss but it doesnt happen all the time and it can very were and how it happens sometime when on flat,facing up hill are down it has dual exhaust an on the drivers side of tail pipe it has a carbon build up it also when a lay down on the pedal it will take off but as it gets going it will admit a kinda brownish to gray thick puff of smoke out of drivers side tail pipe same side that has carbon build up on end of tail pipe it also will do this going up,down are on flat surfaces but it does tend to do it more going up a hill and it will lose power but not completely here are some things i did a year ago tps sensor,coolant sensor,tune up plugs,wires,cap n rotor,fuel filter it also doesnt show any signs of problems when u start it are let it sit in idle(seems to run great then)only shows these problems when in gear like yesterday i took it for a drive an started it waited 3-4 mins then drove got to my 1st stop sign (abt 100 yards) an when stopped signs of low idle miss two more stop signs fine then went down a hill about a 25-30%grade an at bottom started missing again then to store on flat let it rip (slam down pedal)took off nice then admitted that puff of smoke (smoke is grayish to a brown like color)but as it puts out smoke no signs of a problem (running ok)stopped at store (abt 10 mins inside) come out fired up wonderful idle great an headed back home went back up hill(25-30%grade) before going up let of pedal an let car come to almost complete stop an mashed medal down took of great an half way up hill puff of smoke also pulled 2 plugs on that side number 1 n 2 they both looked pretty fair no major build up on them but a black film with wipped off any ideas throw them at me 1 of my friends said the cat maybe but after i ran it yesterday i waited about 10 mins after off an was able to touch it i know if there clogged they will become red hot an unable to touch thanks...
